Choosing your space
Studio or one-bedroom apartment at Goldcrest?
Two apartments can accommodate the same number of guests and still feel very different to live in. At Goldcrest Mall & Residency in DHA Phase 4, Lahore, the most useful distinction between a studio and a one-bedroom home is the separation between sleeping and living space.
Start with the layout, not just the guest count
A studio combines sleeping and living areas in one main space. A one-bedroom apartment has a separate bedroom, which can help when one person wants to sleep while another watches television or takes a call. Neither layout is automatically better: think about how you will share the apartment during your visit.
Photographs are especially useful here. Follow the relationship between the bed, sofa, television and kitchen rather than judging only the finishes. A close-up of a bed does not tell you whether the bedroom has its own door. Read the full description and ask if the layout is unclear.
Confirm how every guest will sleep
Maximum occupancy is a capacity limit, not a description of the beds. If you are travelling with a third guest, ask what sleeping arrangement is provided and whether any extra bedding has a charge. Do this before comparing the final price of two homes.
For a couple with a child, consider bedtime routines and supervision. For colleagues, discuss whether a shared sleeping space is comfortable for both people. A separate bedroom does not necessarily provide two separate beds.
- How many beds are there, and what sizes are they?
- What is provided for an additional guest?
- Can the bedroom be closed off from the lounge?
- Are all guests included in the quoted total?
Compare the space you will actually use
If you plan to eat out most of the time, a large dining area may matter less than a comfortable place to sit. If you intend to cook, check the kitchen and ask about the equipment you need. A studio can have a useful kitchen; a separate bedroom alone tells you nothing about cooking facilities.
For a work trip, look for a suitable table, chair and power access. Ask about any internet requirements essential to your work. A desk in the same room as the bed may suit a solo visit but be less convenient when two people have different schedules.
Use the Goldcrest collection to make a shortlist
Nirvana Nests lists each residence with its own photographs, floor, bathrooms, guest capacity and amenities. Compare the studio and one-bedroom collections, then send the team your preferred homes and exact dates. Availability is confirmed through an enquiry rather than an instant booking calendar.
Ask for a total quote covering the same dates and guests for each option. Confirm payment terms, additional charges and arrival arrangements before choosing. The best fit is the apartment whose layout and arrangements match your visit—not simply the one with the larger headline capacity.
